Going Deeper with the Message Robert Frost once wrote, "Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, and sorry I could not travel both..." For most of us, there are often more than two choices about the road we travel in life and how we will act on that road; and the choices we make can be based on any number of things: comfort, ease, family circumstance, familiarity, even habit. Today we are invited to examine some of those factors that shape our identity. What do we base our choices about who we are and what we do on? Is it the society around us? Our peers? Our family? What about our sense of who God calls us to be? As we move through the next week, take note of your choices and actions. What influences them? Do you sense God calling you to move in a different direction? What will your response be? |
