Going Deeper with the Message A walk through the airport shows the great variety of ways that people travel. Some want to rush right to their destination, so they only pack carry-on bags. Some come with minimal bags that seem to have room for more, and some have many bags packed so full they look like they might burst open at any minute. Sometimes we live our lives the way we pack our luggage. Some people move through life with few commitments, not wanting to stop anywhere for any great length of time. Some people take time to enjoy the world around them and discover the blessings life brings. Some people are so busy trying to pack so much into everyday that their lives are overflowing and occasionally they burst open. Where are you in your life right now? Have you been avoiding commitments? Have you packed it too full? Are things comfortable? Take a few minutes today to notice what God is doing in your life and ask yourself, "What is God asking me to pick up or to let go?" |
