Christa grew up in southern Ontario where her dad is a minister with the United Church of Canada. She was transplanted to Saskatchewan by the church in 1995 after being ordained by Toronto Conference. It was while serving her first pastoral charge: Ogema-Bengough-Pangman that Christa met her husband Brent.  Before coming to Rosemont, Christa also served the Humboldt (SK) Pastoral Charge and St. Mark’s in Whitby, ON.

Christa arrived at Rosemont when the congregation was wondering what the future had in store.  She brings a passion for faith, a commitment to church, and a clear sense that God is still working in and with the people of Rosemont United Church.

Outside of church life, Christa is a mom and musician.  She and Brent have two school-aged boys: Bennett and Nathanial and Christa is currently the director of the Regina Ladies Choir.
