Funerals at Rosemont UC

Rosemont is able to provide funerals at the church as well as through local funeral homes. Rosemont has a group that provides lunches, for a set fee, following funerals for services held at the church.

Funeral services are typically 30-40 minutes and include a time when family members and/or friends can offer readings or memories of the person who has died.

It is customary to meet with the minister two or three days before a funeral service to talk about what you would like included in the service and to help the minister know the deceased better.

While there are no set fees for funerals in the church, it is typical for families to offer an honorarium to the musician of at least $75 and to the minister of at least $150.
