When: Sundays at 10:30 a.m. during the Sunday worship service.
Where: Children begin worship with the entire congregation at 10:30 a.m. Following a Time with the Young and the Young at Heart the children and youth go with their leaders to Sunday School in the lower auditorium.
Who: All children and youth 3 years and older.
What Happens during Sunday School?
Our children meet in a multi-age group to learn in a variety of ways about God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit and who we are as Christians. We use Bible stories as our starting point and try to draw connections between the stories and our own lives. To facilitate learning and engage all the senses we have crafts, stories, songs and even the occasional movie which all relate to the Bible readings for the day.
Many Sundays the stories that are used in Sunday School are the same as the readings used in worship which allows space for conversation between parents and children about what everyone has heard that day.
